Focuser Imports Have you seen the new, beautiful, low-cost, high-profile imported Crayford focusers? They have some great features but they also have some surprises! Be sure you get the facts before you buy. These imports: 1) Are high profile focusers that waste space. Also, the height may cause problems in achieving focus.
2) Cannot lift as much weight due to bearing mounting design (bearing shaft only supported on one end).
3) Weigh more. 4) Are lower quality. But, depending on what you are looking for, they may work for you, at a cheaper price.
