Control Mounting Bracket for Celestron
NexStar

A snap-in bracket that holds the NexStar hand
control where you can see it while using the scope. It mounts on either
the left or right side of the scope depending on which side the fork is on (some
early NexStar 4GT scopes have the fork arm on the right/opposite side). The bracket can be swiveled to change the viewing angle.

This counterweight system helps counterbalance heavy equipment at the visual back.
The mounting bracket attaches to the side rail with a
thumbscrew and slides along the rail for best positioning. Two
stainless-steel weights (approx. 1 lb ea) are included. You can use a single weight or stack the two
weights together (as shown).

Finder
Bracket with Quick Release for
SCTs
Celestron 5" to 11" SCTs and
newer 14" SCTs (Standard Finder Scope); Meade LX90 (LNT Module with
SmartFinder)
A three-point quick-release automatic-repositioning design allows for quick removal and
reinstallation with automatic realignment. It will, in most cases, attach with the screws that are
already present in the telescope's optical tube. Additional hardware is
provided for mounting the finder on the bracket.

The latest version of the three-point automatic-repositioning
Finder Bracket
with Quick Release has two hole patterns. The picture at left
shows
the Meade
LX90 LNT module attached to the upper piece of the
bracket. The two unused holes on the upper piece are for the Celestron
5" through 8" SCT finder scope. The lower piece
attaches to the scope. The upper and lower pieces are held together
at three points. |

reinstall the finder with a single thumbscrew and you are ready to go.
The current version is zinc plated (see inset) rather than black-wrinkle
painted. |

Meade 8 x 50 Finder Scope
This adapter allows the mounting of Meade's 8 x
50 Viewfinder on a Meade LS scope in place of the standard red-dot viewfinder.
The bracket is attached to the telescope using the same holes used for mounting
the red-dot viewfinder. The 8 x 50 Viewfinder dovetail is held by the bracket.
All hex wrenches required for the conversion are includedv
Orion Finder Scopes and EZ Finder II
This adapter allows the mounting of any Orion Finder Scope or EZ Finder II on a Meade LS scope in place of the standard red-dot viewfinder.
The bracket is attached to the telescope using the same holes used for mounting
the red-dot viewfinder. The finder dovetail is held by the bracket.
All hex wrenches required for the conversion are included.

The BRKTLS8X50 bracket easily attaches to the dovetail
portion of the Meade 8 x 50 viewfinder with the large thumbscrew included in the
bracket. |

The BRKTLSORION bracket easily attaches to the dovetail
portion any Orion Finder Scope or EZ Finder II with the large thumbscrew included in the
bracket. |

These brackets allow mounting a standard Meade
8 x 50 viewfinder or Orion finder scope in place of the standard Meade red-dot viewfinder
